Supporting and strengthening the local community has always been a part of our corporate culture. As such, Corporate Social Responsibility is ingrained in the DNA of the Company personnel with an emphasis on creating a conducive environment for the enrichment of its employees and the community as a whole. The company CSR initiatives are focused on supporting key areas of community development by organizing short and long term sustainable CSR Projects within the focused areas of: Education, Children, Poverty/Community upliftment, Environment and Health.
The factory of Edinborough Products (Pvt) Ltd is located in the midst of a harmonious village environment. Therefore most CSR activities are carried out positioning the villagers that live a very simple lifestyle.
Sisu Maga Project - Shishyathwaya Hari Lesi
Under our “Sisu Maga” CSR initiative, Edinborough Products proudly conducts “Shishyathwaya Hari Lesi” every year across Sri Lanka, supporting Grade 5 students preparing for the Scholarship Examination.
Light Board Project – Emergency Treatment Unit Padukka Hospital
As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, Edinborough Products (Pvt) Ltd provided a light board for Padukka Hospital, completed in January 2026.
Children’s Park Project – Maduoluwa Shobitha Maha Vidyalaya
As part of our commitment to supporting children and communities, Edinborough Products (Pvt) Ltd completed a Children’s Park Project at Maduoluwa Shobitha Maha Vidyalaya, Padukka, in January 2025.
Gamai Api Project – Road Name Board
As part of our commitment to supporting and strengthening local communities, Edinborough Products (Pvt) Ltd proudly carried out a community initiative under our “Gamai Api” CSR programme in Kirillawela, Gampaha, in October 2024.
